About Me
AMYJROBINSON | 愛美 is an autistic travel and documentary photographer, writer and producer based in North East England.
I’m Oi Mei (pronounced like oy-may), the person behind AMYJROBINSON. I’m a queer, autistic travel and documentary photographer, writer and producer based in the North East.
As a disabled person of mixed-heritage, I have a passion for delivering creative workshops and community events focusing on queerness, intersectionality, activism and belonging.
I have a wide range of skills and experiences, and I’m excited to collaborate with other artists, organisations and communities based in North East England, nationally and across the globe.
If you want to see a more personal side to my work, I share behind-the-scenes footage, everyday moments that make me smile, and my full process (including the mental breakdowns) over on my YouTube channel.
Working with me
I want to create work that feels exciting and is tailored to you. It can be nerve-wracking to trust someone with your project, but I work hard to deliver results you’ll be pleased with.
We can get started with a free consultation - send me your contact details, an overview of your idea, and if you require any additional accommodations. I’ll be in touch to organise a time to discuss your project in more detail.
